Dr. Francis Mir loves bringing smiles to his patients’ faces and helping them get back to their normal diet. Sometimes, teeth that are broken down can cause severe pain and cannot be saved. In many instances, patients are anxious from prior experiences and have a fear of going to the dentist. The loss of teeth, especially in the front, can make many patients feel self-conscious about their smiles. Dr. Mir has trained for ten years in the field of Dentistry and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery to help his patients with these conditions. He especially enjoys providing sedation and sleep medicine during surgical procedures such as tooth removal, bone grafting, and dental implant placement to alleviate pain and anxiety.
Dr. Mir has lived in many countries across the world and connects with his patients on a personal level from all walks of life. He takes time to explain the treatment in detail so his patients feel comfortable and understand exactly what is going to happen next. He advocates for his patients with honesty, integrity, and compassion. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, running, playing tennis, and skiing. He lives in West Hartford, Connecticut with his wife Sarah Mir who is a Pediatric Dentist.
